What types of users are there?

With the new Suvervisor/Trainer View https://deskmate.cloud/de/supervisor-view/, we have also introduced a new user type, the Suervisor/Trainer. As you keep asking when and who should be added and what rights the individual user types have, here is a brief overview.

Here are the current deskMate user types and their authorizations:

deskMate user level

Which user type should be used for what. Here are our recommendations.

User/Trainee:
Training participants.

Supervisor/trainer:
Trainers/lecturers who should not have admin rights. They can have their own desktop, monitor and connect to the desktops of their participants and reboot them if necessary – ideal for external trainers or partners.

Local Admin:
Trainers/lecturers who, in addition to training, also do the organizational/administrative part in deskMate. But also training organization with few classrooms

“Reseller Admin”:
The training organization if there are several classrooms. All of the company’s classrooms can be managed with one login.
