Difference between “Owner” and “Admin”

You may have wondered what the difference is between the two users.

Both users have the same admin rights. The first user created in a deskMate environment is the “Owner” and this user automatically has admin rights.

An “Owner” cannot be deleted. If this is necessary, you can declare another administrator as the “owner”. The previous user then becomes the “Admin” who can be deleted.

The “Owner” can be changed in the admin menu under Account/Settings and then under “Change account Owner”.
