Autologin for Windows environments

Especially in training environments, it may be desirable that the deskMate Cloud Desktops automatically logs in with the correct user when starting. This means that the participant only needs to log in to the deskMate portal and not also log in to the operating system.

Enclosed are instructions on how to implement this auto login in Windows environments.

To do this, the following must be changed in the Windows registry (only possible with admin rights):

String “DefaultUserName” -> User name
Character string “DefaultPassword” -> Password (If the password is empty, simply leave it empty. However, the entry is necessary).
String “AutoAdminLogon” -> 1

Here is an example entry for the auto login of the Administrator user for which no password is set.
