This means that the participant only needs to log in to the deskMate portal and not also log in to the operating system.<\/p>\n\n<p>Enclosed are instructions on how to implement this auto login in Windows environments.  <\/p>\n\n<p>To do this, the following must be changed in the Windows registry (only possible with admin rights):<\/p>\n\n<p>To do this, the following must be changed in the Windows registry:<br\/>String &#8220;DefaultUserName&#8221; -&gt; User name<br\/>Character string &#8220;DefaultPassword&#8221; -&gt; Password (If the password is empty, simply leave it empty.
